for x-mas this year, i got myself some trip-hop: “the promise land”

i promise i’m not racist, and also merry x-mas!

p.s. i’m sorry this isn’t that funny… or maybe it is, and you just haven’t given it enough time to sink in yet!

so i went the other way after my last song (“the world keeps falling apart”), which would be this way:

“the lightning hardly strikes the land”.

i’m saving consistency for my 50th wedding anniversary.

for those of you who don’t know, my arm has been crippled. crippled by too much rocking! …and also from sorting mail at some stupid studio. so this is a song that came out in the days before the accident. rediscovered, recovered, and re-ready to be reshown.

it’s called “the world keeps falling apart,” and it’s in response to the millions of e-mails we get a day telling us to rock much harder. now, to sit back and wait for the record deals to come flying in (send all record deals to here).

also, we’ll probably be starting a lyrics page soon for those who love bad karaoke.

and here’s officially the unofficial sequel to “big city girl.”

it’s called “city lights,” which i think is reasonable enough.
