when i was 17 my father gave me 100 dollars to buy clothes because i was literally wearing hospital scrubs to high school on a daily basis. IMPORTANT NOTE: it was more of a comfort thing.
i tried on the nautica jeans and the sales clerk who looked like busta rhymes accused me of shoplifting upon exit of the dressing room
i had to pull my pants halfway down to prove i wasn’t hiding jeans beneath my clothing
aunt-gifted tabasco boxers for the whole store to see
i ain’t no shoplifter
